Tender Mercy 17 – The Love of Many

I apologize for not writing yesterday. I was busy running errands, and then spending time with my parents. I knew what I was going to write about it, but just never sat down to write it.

Yesterday I was able to help out around the house. My mom and dad went to work like usual (of course my dad was extremely tired from the previous emotional night). So I tried to do what I could around the house. I brought in the big trash cans, ran and unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned the kitchen, I went and bought the food for my mom’s piano recital today, I picked up some chairs from my sister-in-law, I got the guest room ready for sister who comes in on Sunday, etc. I figured that my parents had been through a lot, so I wanted to be able to give back somehow and take off some of the stress.

  • One of my friends (who I have known for YEARS now, but we don’t always get to see each other a lot) texted me yesterday a VERY sweet message in regards to my grandpa. Letting me know that if we needed anything like food, or groceries, or anything that she would be willing to help. I know that there are many people out there who would love to help and people who are watching out for us, and I am very grateful for that.

So my sister and her little girl come in tomorrow. I came excited for that because it will be nice to have someone else around the house haha! Someone else to talk to while my parents are at work. 😜

Anyway, yesterday was a pretty good day. I was able to relax, while also getting a lot done. Today we are going to be getting our Christmas tree finally!!! So we will be able to decorate and everything and then it will really feel like Christmas ❤️❤️

Thank you everyone for your love and support. I love you!
