Tomorrow I go in for my CT scan for my sinuses (yet again).
I have had 2 surgeries on my nose already in the past couple years.
The first one was back in 2015 when I went in complaining and found out I had a deviated septum (the middle part of the nose). Basically, it was crooked and that can happen when you get hit in the face … which hadn’t happened. So still a mystery as to how that happened. I guess I hit myself while I was sleeping? haha!
The second surgery I had was in 2017 when I went back in complaining and they did a CT scan and found out that I had cysts (or polyps) in the left nasal cavity and on the right side I had so much fluid built up that it was all the way to right under my eye.
So I got that surgery and felt a bit better … but not 100%.
Well, tomorrow I go in for a CT scan to see if those cysts and fluid came back.
Recently, it has gotten really bad and I have been feeling pretty sick and I have been feeling quite a bit of pressure. I am really hoping they actually find something that they can fix – because I just want the pressure to go away.
I know I can’t really complain because there are so many people in the world who deal with medical problems every day that are much worse than mine. But for me, this is hard. We all have our tolerance level I guess.
Anyway, I am supposed to fast before going to get my CT scan. Which shouldn’t be too bad since I have to be there at 7:40 in the morning. So as soon as I am done there, I can come home and eat. It just means waking up early … which you all know I have not been doing lately haha!
Other than that this week has been somewhat calm.
I have been driving my mom a lot to different doctor appointments because she is going to be getting a couple surgeries on her eyes – which is no fun. The doctor found a hole and so they have to fix that, and once they do that then she is getting cataract surgery. But the end result will hopefully be better vision.
Oh, I also start my new job on Monday so I will finally start making a real income again haha!
So for the next 1.5 months I will be working 2 jobs which will be nice. It will be a bit rough in that I won’t have my mornings to work out anymore, so I will have to work out at night around 8pm. But once March comes around I will have my mornings again, and will be able to work out before going to my job.
I know working out at night may not seem like a big deal, but it is. I prefer mornings because then I actually get it done before I am too tired. When I wait til the evening I may make more excuses for myself.
Anyway, I will try and update you next week on any results I get from the CT scan. Hopefully nothing serious. Probably just more cysts and fluid. As long as they can fix it, I will be happy. 😃
