Alright everyone, you know that Tuesday’s are my weigh in day so here we go!
So I woke up this morning and weighed myself and I was back down 0.8 which means I lost exactly what I had gained over vacation! So I am now back down to what I was before.
I went and worked out today – although I took it easy because I still have a bit of a cold. After my workout I went ahead and weighed myself again and it said I actually lost another pound on top of the 0.8. So it could be that I have actually lost 29.6 pounds, but for now I am just saying 28.6 pounds.
I’m happy I lost the 0.8 from the vacation. I was afraid I wouldn’t lose anything since I have been sick all week. But I did!
I am really trying to enjoy life as I go along this weight loss journey. I am trying to be okay with taking days off, even if it means I gain a little. It’s hard to accept but I also don’t want to miss out on opportunities with people. That doesn’t mean that I am going to take every opportunity I can to splurge and go off track. But it does mean that it’s okay to take a day here and there to splurge.
In the beginning I didn’t want to use ANY of my extra points. But I am realizing that if I use a few extra points now and then it’s okay. Everybody is different, and you need to find what works for you.
“I’m not losing weight. I’m getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again.”
