So I just finished another book. I have a list of books that I want to read. Most of them spiritual or inspirational – I need it in my life haha! But this particular one is one that I have talked about a few times recently. It’s witty, yet inspirational.

So there were multiple things that I liked about this book. It was an easy read with a sense of humor so it made it a pretty quick read, but it also had a lot of truths and valuable information – at least for me. We all need different things at different times in our lives and so this was a fun read for me in a time when I needed it.

Let me share with you a few quotes from his book that may or may not peek your interest.

“The more comfortable you are with yourself, the more willing you are to do uncomfortable things, and it’s the uncomfortable things that create growth.”

– James Perry

“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.”

– Kurt Cobain

“The more you know yourself, the more you can realize your potential. When you see the good you produce, your confidence builds and builds, and soon enough nothing can stop you from being a powerful source of good.”

– James Perry

“You will be okay, and it is always worth moving forward, whether you are running or barely moving one step.”

– James Perry

I enjoy reading, but I have slacked off a lot due to stupid excuses. So I have made a list of the books I own but have not finished and my goal is to take it one book at a time. Anyone looking for a good read, I would recommend this book. It’s nothing that is going to change your life forever, but I am a sucker for quotes, and this book had many things that I highlighted to record in my journal.

And if you have any books that you think I should add to my list, let me know!! I am always looking for new recommendations.
